Surety Bonds Montana:
Motor Vehicle Dealer
Motor Vehicle Dealer (MVD) Bonds are required by the state in order for a dealer to obtain a dealer license. The MVD Bond ensures that the dealer complies with all federal laws, state laws and tax and decision guidelines. Each state will have a different Surety Bond amount and unique Bond form. Some states have a specified expiration date, while others will have an annual term of one or two years from the date that you purchased. A MVD Bond is one of the most common types of Surety Bonds. A dealer Bond is also sometimes referred to as a motor vehicle dealer (MVD) Bond, Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Bond, motor vehicle Bond, dealer Bond, or auto dealer Bond.
