Housemoving - City of Houston

This Bond is required by the City of Houston for anyone engaging in the business of housemoving within the corporate limits of the City of Houston in strict accordance with the terms of Sections 10-48 through 10-106 of the Code of Ordinance of the City of Houston, Texas. The Bond guarantees the housemover will pay the City of Houston for any and all damages to streets, curbs, gutters, water lines, fire hydrants, and other public property occasioned in any manner by the housemover; and will pay to the City of Houston any and all costs arising from any movement, rearrangement, or reinstallation of traffic signals, water lines, and other public property made necessary by the moving of any house by the housemover.
